Wally began his sound career in Austin, Tx in the early ’90’s as a musician who was always fascinated with recording and mixing music. Over the last 25 years, he has moved into the TV and film world with a passion for docustyle projects. Wally has mixed sound for millions of viewers on shows like COPS, Duck Dynasty, Pit Bulls and Parolees, as well as films like Warrior Champions: from Baghdad to Beijing, Grass is Greener (a feature documentary by Fab 5 Freddy), Fonzo (Tom Hardy) and Tales from the Hood 2 (both to be released in 2019). Wally is at home working in any environment. From the mountains of Alaska and Hawaii to the Dominican Republic and Australia, Wally has provided exceptional broadcast sound for many networks and production companies. He has mixed and recorded the most simple of setups with a couple of people and interviews all the way to 22 cast with 14 plant and effects mics from the control room. In a nut shell, Wally Skinner can provide comprehensive and professional sound solutions and services to just about any client.
Oh yeah, he has a BA in Spanish Language from UT Austin as well!
